Mr. & Mrs. Williams

Congratulations to Myron and Monique and Marjon on the blending of this wonderful family. Monique used a chocolate brown and cream for her wedding colors, and from the bridesmaids dresses to table decor even to the guys brown suits was just classy every step of the way. I'd like to especially thank Estelle for all of her help coordinating family and helping me to keep things moving. We wish you all the happiness in the world and that your little man has a bright future ahead of him.

Mr. & Mrs. Sheard

Congratulations to Matthew and Kimberley-Anne, after 9 years of dating, he finally got his girl! This was a beautiful, emotional and surprising wedding for two long time sweethearts, their parents who have been long time friends and a defenseless u-haul that made for some great photo ops.
After moving into their new home our couple drove their rented u-haul to a friends wedding innocently joking how funny it would be to have a u-haul for their wedding transportation. Our bride's mom, Carol-Anne, took that innocent statement and dressed up "Tom's Town car" a u-haul in disguise.
I love sneaky moms, and I love the uniqueness-for a story that no one will ever forget. This is one great way to really make your wedding memorable.

Congrats you two and may your love grow 9-fold :)

Mr. and Mrs. Oliver

Congratulations to Kerry and Romit on their amazing wedding at the Castle at Ashley Manor. I had the privilege to meet both Kerry and Romit when Romit's brother Rahul was married in 2007. I instantly fell in love with Romit because of his great sense of humor and the playful banter he created in every situation, so when Kerry called me to be their wedding photographer I was ecstatic to be seeing his family.
*I was also excited to see Rachelle and Rahul's baby girl Isabella too* She's featured in our baby gallery.
Both Kerry and Romit and immense fun to work with and since they were my first wedding in 6 LONG weeks, they were more than happy to let me flex my creative muscle with them and I think the results speak for themselves.

Congrats to both of you and I hope that we will have many opportunities to take more pictures in the future!

Mr. & Mrs. Williams

Congratulations to both Robert and Susan on their beautiful sunset nuptials 9/5/08. This loving couple was never far from puckering up and share a closeness that resembles a romance novel. Melanie and Morgan photographed this wedding and did a stunning job of capturing Susan's beauty that just glows from within. All of us here at MIFP wish them the best and many years of happiness together.

1st Birthday Photos

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Adison for our fairy princesss promotion. In addition, I convinced mom to let her get messy and play with birthday cake to put in her thank you cards after the party.

I STRONGLY encourage all parents who have the slightest desire for memorable photos of their baby to give me the opportunity to do this shoot with them. Everyone had a great time, not pictured, even dad got into the fun.
It was a sticky sweet mess and something that I will remember forever and am excited to share with all of you.

I just wish I had done this with my little man!

What makes us different

What makes us different...

Here is a behind the scenes look at how we make the pictures as fun as we do, and how when you choose Moments in Film- you're not just getting a photographer, you're getting a team that bustles your dress, attaches boutonnieres, coordinates with your other vendors, has safety pins and other emergency goodies on hand, dance with the unpaired groomsman, fill in for the dollar dance, always keeps you looking your best and is a friend. Many of my couples have become great friends and that makes the work so fulfilling.

Preferred Vendors

Venues
Tucson Botanical Gardens ~ www.tucsonbotanical.org ~ Beautiful, green, affordable and intimate. This venue offers lush gardens without all the cacti you'd find at the Phoenix Desert Botanical Garden.

Ahwatukee Country Club ~ 480-893-1094 ~ Coordinator Susan Miller goes to great lengths to ensure her couples are happy on their wedding day. This is another affordable location with rolling green hills for outdoor ceremonies and a wonderful club house for receptions.

Chapel at the Farm ~ http://www.chapelonthefarm.com/chapelatthefarm.html Reverend Amy Miller owns this quaint restored farmhouse in Gilbert Arizona and offers a range of packages to meet any couple and their budget. From a quick "jp" style ceremony to a full out ceremony and reception on the grounds. Save even more by bringing in your own caterer and beverage. We even have special packages we run specifically thru the chapel for our services.

Florists
Bliss Occasions ~ Sara Skinner
She was the florist for our vow renewal and did an amazing job adding her special touch to everything from the tables, boutonieers, boquets and more. I love how she built my boquet to match my personality and added those adorable little crystal pins to the roses!

Butterfly Petals ~ Amanda Johnson ~ www.butterflypetals.com ~ AMAZING hardly describes the beauty of their work, unique, eco-friendly and ornate. These people know flowers and love adding artistic flair to their pieces.

Officals/Rev's
Rev. Marnie Olson ~ azceremoniesyourway.com ~ I have had the pleasure of working with Marnie along side various couples. Her professionalism, great attitude and calming presence make her ceremonies beautiful and timeless. She is very hands on when getting to know her couples and customizes each wedding to fit them to a 'T'.

Larry James Minister ~ celebrateintimateweddings.com ~ Larry is practically a celebrity among ceremony officials and yet he is incredibly down to earth. His ceremonies are humorous, touching and endearing. They remind us why we love those in our lives. This is another individual who really gets to know his couples before the ceremony and it shows in the delivery of his presentation.

Musicians
Acoustics by Dillon and Ben. These guys are a steal for couples looking for live music for their ceremony. Long time bandmates of Petty Thieves, Dillon does solo work, acoustics, dj'ing and slide show presentations and can offer a full band. I've had the opportunity to attend a few of their gigs and they are professional, skilled and affordable. To hear some of their work and to contact Dillon, visit http://www.dillonruggiero.com/

DJ's
All American DJ ~ allamericandjaz.com ~ I've worked with Chad (owner) a handful of times- HE ROCKS! Always great music selections classics and current. He knows how to get people on the dance floor. He's interactive with the crowd. Smart, funny and an all around good guy to have around on your wedding day. He's also a punctuality freak like me, he shows up early to guarantee perfection.

Citron Sound ~ info@citronsound.com http://www.citronsound.com/ We have worked with various members of their team throughout the past two years and without fail, they always keep the crowd dancing, are energetic and fun. Great music choices, games and crowd participation for different themed dances are just the beginning of what they can do for your party.

DJ One Productions ~ djonebiz.com ~ Pete is a relaxed individual who is great at reading his audience and selects the perfect song to get everyone out and dancing. Working with him I know the reception will run smoothly.

Dance Lessons
Let your first dance stand out from all the rest! Let Manny and Cory Gutierrez of Tropical Vibes Dance teach you the moves to wow your guests and bring you closer together. This husband and wife team have affordable lesson plans that are fun and they are great teachers. Visit their website at http://www.tropicalvibes.com/ and come crash a salsa party to see what the fun is all about.

Wedding Coordinator/Decor
Say I do Weddings louise_hile@yahoo.com OMG! Louise and her team were the decorators for our vow renewal. This is one person to spend money on when regarding your wedding budget. Everything she touched turned to gold- it was magic watching her work. From the "P" wreath on our arch, to the sconces filled with petals and even the lanterns and orbs hanging from the awning. Talk about someone who knows her stuff!

Perry Consulting ~ nvpconsulting.com ~ Nicole will be alongside you every step of the way when it comes to planning your event. Meeting with a vendor, she'll be there, want elaborate table set ups, she's on top of it. She has great skill and excels in the smallest details.

A Simple Touch ~ asimpletouch.com ~ Molly is an absolute miracle worker. I met her at a backyard event in May of 2008. I'm always curious when I show up to a backyard ceremony/reception. Molly was already hard at work when I arrived and if you didn't have to walk thru the house you'd never had known it was a backyard affair. Details Details Details- from table linens to entry ways and more she makes it look simple, but it just shows how great she is at what she does.

Make-up/Hair
Beauty By Erica ~ beautybyerica.com ~ Perfection! From a photographer's point of view she does a great job of balancing enough make-up to not only enhance what the bride already has, but she doesn't cake it on. I find often many MUA's don't realize with digital technology it is not necessary to cake on layers of make-up for it to show up in the photos. She nails this skill!

Videography
Mighty One Productions~ 602.524.5289 weddings@mightyoneproductions.com ~ Jon is the only videographer I know who specializes in HD wedding videography- which makes watching him tear up during the vows on your HDTV even better! Affordable, flexible and talented. When not shooting weddings, writing scripts for commericals and more, he routinely does work for the AZ Diamondbacks and the United Way.

A Superior Video Company ~ 480-620-1332 ~ Roger has been in film production for well over 20 years. When not shooting weddings he is the videographer for East Valley Children's Theater and does freelance work with the AZ Cardinals.

Cakes
My Goodness Cakes http://www.mygoodnesscakes.com/home Brian is a genius. I've had the opportunity to preview his work- he's an artist with fondant. He also did the cake for our vow renewal and it was a perfect compliment to the decor and prettier than our wedding cake!

Sugar and Bliss Bakery~ sugarandbliss.com Monica wowed us all at the Powell wedding- who could have possibly known 4 of the 5 immaculate tiers were fake. This turned me on to the idea of faux cakes with sheet cake waiting in the wings- what an amazing way to save money. This girl is all about the details and it shows in every piece she creates!

Linens & Other Rentals
Premier Events~ http://www.premiereventsaz.com/ Located in downtown Mesa they have a beautiful showroom full of opulent cake stands dripping with crystals, jeweled linens and more. The selection is impressive and the staff is very helpful.

Bachelorette Parties & More
Pussycats Pole Dance ~ pussycatspoledance.com ~ Nyla is a phenomenon. She makes pole dancing look so easy. I got a few pole burns, it's not easy but the way she teaches it is easily picked up and lots of fun strutting your stuff in front of a wall of mirrors. Her classes and parties are a fun way to build confidence and have fun with your body. Not only does she teach pole dancing, but lap dance and burlesque...should you decide to surprise your new husband and really have him worship the ground you walk on!

Cosmetic Procedures
Dr. David Curtis DMD ~ 480-654-5730 ~ I am a believer in the power of Invisalign. The clear and preferred method of braces. Dr. Curtis and his team of assistants are the best when it comes to creating an amazing smile for your wedding day and every day there after. With frequent specials and easy payment plans getting that perfect smile for your wedding day just got a lot easier.
