From the Barron Family

Davian's daughter Emilia just completed the entire Moments series and when I asked her to share her thoughts on it this is what she said

Jacquelyn was wonderful with our daughters and her pictures captured some of the sweetest moments. I can't seem to buy enough picture frames to show off all of our favorite kodak moments :). I didn't have the opportunity to experience the "Moments Collection" with our first daughter. We spent hours at the nearest Kiddie Kandid or Picture People only to walk out frustrated. Having paid so much money for a few sheets of pictures, but the worst part is having to choose your favorite pose. With "Moments in Film" the photographer is patient and playful. The pictures are casual and comfortable. Your baby is happy, because they are in a familiar setting. And the best part is you get all of the pictures for a small price!! You can't find a better deal! When I found "Moments in Film" and realized what opportunity she was offering at the price she offers it, I couldn't pass it up. I only wish I found her 18 months sooner, so I could have the amazing milestones captured on film with my first daughter. I would and do recommend "Moments in Film" to all my friends and family and everyone else I show off my pictures to. Thank you so very much for an amazing job.

New Albums

We're now offering an updated version of the larger size hard cover album- and it won't break the bank.

A custom 8x8 album (20) pages with a black leatherette cover is $175 the same in a 10x10 is $250.

If this sounds like something you may be interested in email me for a sample album layout and coupon for $25 off.

Emi's 1st birthday

Emilia is our first infant to complete the entire moments collection series. She has been my learning curve, my expirement with props and sets and I am eternally greatful. Also doesn't hurt that she's family. Either way watching her developmental milestones thru pictures has been an amzing experience.

All things told, she hasn't changed much. She still has a pursed pout on her lips that just makes you wanna give her a kiss to see if she'll smile and still has big cheeks. She's ever vigilant to do whatever big sis Olivia is doing and is much more outgoing with O by her side. She's not big on smiling- for the camera at least, but she's very happy to talk and call out "dog" when she hears barking.

We love you Emilia and Olivia- don't grow up too fast- we love you both just the way you are!

Ryder's 3 mo session

This sunny little fellow wasn't a fan of tummy time, but was one of the most focused and intent 3 month old I've ever encounterd next to Roman. It's been so much fun watching Lisa and Jason, not only get married but have this bouncing baby boy. Their one year anniversary is approaching and I'm still blown away.

Ryder is all about his mommy and has very ticklish feet which is how we got a few smiling photos after an hour of trying. The amazing part is just how fast they grow into little people with things to say and do. Next time when's he's sitting on his own- naked butt pics :)

Bravo Wedding

The weather couldn't have been better for Jesus & Vanessa's wedding Thursday night at the Chapel. Vanessa was a dream in her dress, the gloves, the veil- it was perfection. And gotta tell you, Jesus was rocking those aviators- he was "money" and didn't even know it. But since he looks so young, he's probably not familiar with the reference I just made

Brown Wedding

My BFF Venture hired me to photograph her friend Darla's wedding. I'll never turn down an opportunity to see Venture (she lives in Tucson) so Monday I drove down to attend a beautiful and budget friendly wedding. It was truly an event to see more children the guests attend the event. But none the less it was fun- and I love seeing Venture all dressed up, last time she looked this amazing was my wedding!

Dylan Scott

Rob and Crystal are a fairly newlywed couple of mine who just had their first baby Dylan Scott.

He's a spitting image of his daddy and like most babies- wants mom, hates cold and isn't sure what to think of the big flash and the lady cooing his name. Regardless he was a fun new addition to photograph.

We're always excited when new babies arrive in the Moments family.

Congratulations Rob Crystal and Dylan

Simmons Wedding

We were all busy on Valentines day! Emily and Melanie photographed Debbie's great backyard wedding. With beautiful red accents everywhere you could tell there was love in the air.

LOVE the umbrellas- Melanie you rock!

Valentines Day Chapel Weddings

In addition to the free military weddings, we had some regular valentines day weddings as well.

Turzzolo: our hip chic couple dressed in black. I believe they were in town from NY, but had family all over and decided to have a chapel wedding. I loved the black matching attire and black shades.

Gary: Jen was the most gorgeous bride in her stunning gown and red heels. You'd never know it was an express wedding by the photos, but with the limo, flowers, bridal party and more- this savvy couple saved a fortune but were to the nines. Jen you were so much fun to photograph and you looked just amazing!

Tackett: This late night couple was our last wedding (8) of the day. Steve had always talked down about marriage, but he beamed while exchanging vows with his stylish bride Sarah. They topped off their express wedding with cupcakes and wine grinning from ear to ear all the while.

Free Military Weddings at Chapel at the Farm

Amy Miller- owner of Chapel at the Farm- offered free weddings/vow renewals to military couples on Valentines Day. We partnered up and offered free photography as well. Here are some of the highlights.

Nicole & Ray

Nicole has recently been featured on our blog for her kick butt grad photos. But most recently we completed her engagement session at SMOCA. This is a popular location for photos because of the LOVE statue.

We accidentally missed it because it was occupied when we were shooting. Instead we created some images that were absolutely new to me. Just goes to show there are always new things to shoot even in the most common places.

Ray was great. It's more than obvious how much he loves Nicole by the infectious smile on his face. I love how little Nicole is, she fits right into Ray perfectly. We are so excited for the wedding!
My favorite from the shoot

Golden Butterfly

East Valley Children's Theater is currently running the "Golden Buttefly"
In a land where two societies are seperated by land and sky two children rush to learn the secret of the Golden Butterfly to help their grandmother. On the way, they befriend a "Windsian" and learn that the heart "feels, learns, loves, and protects"

Shane Scanlan

Boy oh boy, the Scanlans got a boy. Shane William Scanlan was born in Janurary and thanks to my wonderful lecture with Sandy Puc his photos turned out AMAZING.

This handsome little boy is joined by his 3 sisters who's personalities really shined during the photo session. It's amazing how the camera bring out the truth in people- kids especially.

Shane is a cutie patootie and I only hope that I did Brandy justice in making her look as good as she did for the shoot just a week after baby was born. With 4 kids she's my hero- just one is enough for me :)
It's hard work being a supermodel
All of them are 2 years apart! Talk about timing
Whoa baby!
Awwww

Emily and Henry

Emily is one of three things: the third bride in a cascade of referrals, one of our new photographers and a fast friend.

Emily and Henry are getting married at the Phoenix Zoo in March and got to tell you- really excited about having a venue that large to play in. To prepare for the wedding we toured the zoo and did engagement photos simultaneously. Really we just played until I had to run off to another appointment :)

They are both really fun to shoot and it's always nice when half the guests at a wedding already know who you are.

Thank you Emily for joining us at MIFP- we know you have great talent and can't wait to put you to work!

The Dress List

http://www.thedresslist.com/

What to do with that wedding dress....

For most of us, we dream of having a little girl of our own who will one day wear our wedding dress. So we spend a couple hundred bucks on cleaning and preservation and it sits.....and it sits.......and it sits

Why not make some cash off of it. Check out the dress list where you can sell your dress, find a dress or find other vendors to help you plan your wedding.

When money's tight. Get creative.

No one will know its not straight from the store unless you tell them otherwise ;)
